My passion is creating wedding ceremonies that are personal, warm, authentic and vibrant, reflecting your lives, your love, your personalities and values.
In consultation with the both you I develop a marriage ceremony that is engaging, entertaining and fun that moves people emotionally.
An initial meeting (obligation and fee-free) can be organised at a mutually convenient time and location. Subsequent meetings can even be held at your home, so you don’t have to give up your evening or weekend time to come to my office.
Celebrating togetherness – however you want to express it. Whether you are interested in a short and simple, or themed ceremony or a more traditional marriage ceremony, big or small, public or intimate, indoors or out I am happy to accommodate your wishes. I have many sample ceremonies, quotes and readings and together we create a personalised and unique ceremony for you.
Every ceremony is absolutely unique to each couple. No two ceremonies are the same, because no two couples are the same. Personal and intimate, fresh and engaging, your ceremony will be all about you, and for you, so that you and your guests come away feeling like they have been part of something really special.
Leave the legal requirements to me. Don’t worry about anything and please – enjoy the moment – it is all about you both.
I provide a uniquely customer-focused service that comes to you. I’ll come to you at home, days, evenings or weekends, so we can discuss your ceremony and do the paperwork in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Package includes –
- Preparation of the legal paperwork (Notice of Intended Marriage) and to have an in- depth discussion, helping me get to know you better and clarify what you want.
- Regular contact by email / phone to check details as the ceremony takes shape. Depending on your rquirements perhaps a second meeting.
- A second/third meeting including a rehearsal (if required) to finalise arrangements and double check every detail of your ceremony
- Conducting your marriage ceremony. I’ll be there early to set up, greet guests and calm nerves, fully self-contained with a signing table and a PA system.
- Completion and submission of all documentation required under Australian law.
Fee discussion at initial meeting with consideration of travelling time and rehearsal requirements.
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is payable when the Notice of Intended Marriage is completed at the first meeting.

A minimalist ceremony of marriage performed for just the two of you and your two witnesses, and a maximum of 12 guests.
Locations available by negotiation.
I’ll meet you at a mutually convenient place and time to complete the legal paperwork (at least one month prior to your wedding), perform a very straightforward ceremony at agreed location on the appointed day and ensure all documents are lodged with the Registrar immediately after the event. Professional, personal and easy.

I am a Certified Facilitator of the PREPARE/ENRICH relationship and couples’ assessment tool. The PREPARE/ENRICH Assessment is an online survey that you take with your partner to help you identify the unique strengths and potential growth areas of your premarital or married relationship. It is an assessment instrument that must be interpreted by a trained facilitator or counsellor. Nerida is a Certified Facilitator of this program.
This tool is suitable for premarital counselling, marriage enrichment, marriage mentoring and marriage education.
PREPARE/ENRICH is an excellent tool with substantial evidence supporting its reliability and validity. Recently, PREPARE/ENRICH was reviewed in the Twentieth Edition of the Mental Measurements Yearbook (2017), which is the most widely acclaimed reference series in education and psychology, designed to assist professionals in selecting and using standardised assessments.

Baby Naming Ceremonies
What could be more special than a new baby?
Formally naming a new baby, or honouring a milestone birthday in your child’s life is the perfect opportunity to welcome them into the family – and into the community that your family and friends create. There is no better feeling in life than the birth of your own child. Welcoming him or her into your family and into this world is an important occasion and should be marked by a special event.
The parents may choose to acknowledge the role of others in the life of their child, Grandparents, older siblings, friends etc Godparents, Guardians or Mentors. Each child or person named receives a certificate.
The words of the ceremony are chosen to reflect the values of the parents and family. Every naming ceremony is unique and offers flexibility to meet the individual needs and wishes of the family. It is entirely up to you as to how you would like the ceremony to be organised but they usually take about 20 – 30mins. Music in the background can help to provide a more relaxed and meaningful ceremony.
An integral part of the ceremony is the presentation of certificates for the Godparents/Guardians, Grandparents and Great-Grandparents. The parents will be presented with a naming certificate and a booklet of the ceremony. Creating a personal and meaningful ceremony together can be an extremely rewarding experience.

Funeral & Remembrance Ceremony, Celebration of Life, Scattering Ashes
No one wants to think about the sadness of losing a family member or a much-loved friend but inevitably, eventually, we all do.
A personal funeral, celebration of a life, or memorial ceremony can be a fitting tribute to the one who has passed away by remembering, acknowledging and celebrating their life and achievements and grieving their passing. It will also provide comfort to those who are bereaved by giving them a time and safe space to acknowledge their grief and loss. An appropriate and personal service can be a comfort and consolation and an important step in the grieving process.
I can meet with you at which time we share your knowledge of the deceased which helps me then to write and conduct a ceremony that meets your needs and reflects the attributes of the one whom you have lost. I am happy to come to your home to discuss your wishes for the funeral. If you wish, I will write the eulogy based on the information you give me at this meeting. I encourage family and friends to be included in the service by reading poems, tributes or tributes.
